Development Time
If you research online, you’ll find that there’s a lot of information about when a child will learn certain skills or reach particular stages of development. This might include learning to crawl, walk, or speech. However, it’s worth noting that the times are the average points at which children develop these skills or reach different stages. There’s no hard fast rule here to learn from. If you do think your child is falling behind in terms of development, there are of course options. For instance, you can consider pediatric therapy. This could be useful if your child seems to be slow in their speech development and keep them on the right track.
Bullying
It’s not silly to worry about bullying. Particularly, when you consider that 70% of individuals claim that they have experienced some form of bullying by the time they are 18. There’s no set way on how to deal with bullying. You can speak to the school, but you might find that this does more harm than good. You can speak to the parents of the bully but they may not be interested or they might not believe you. The best thing you can do is ensure that you have an open dialogue with your child. It’s absolutely crucial that if they have an issue, they feel as though they can come to you rather than hiding it away all the time.
