I’m not a big fan of shopping for clothes for myself, but I love to shop for my kids. For instance, my 4 year old daughter can pull off looks that I wouldn’t even dare. While she’s at the age where she definitely has an opinion about her outfit for the day, we can still find a compromise eventually.
I’ve been replenishing the kids’ fall/winter weather wardrobe some this weekend. Thus, this is where I pretend I know what I’m doing and put together a few looks that I thought would be cute as I’ve been browsing, with a bit of compromising to take into account my daughter’s fun sense of style. As you can see, for the most part I prefer to shop wherever I can find a discount.

Fuchsia & Gray Stripe Sweater Dress at Zulily – $12.49
Waffle-Knit Long-Sleeve Tee from Old Navy – $12.94
Microfiber Tights in Ivory – $10.00
Jr. Sleeve Rubber Boot (Carnation Pink) from LUME Footwear – $69.95
That sweater dress is the one piece I did snag this weekend. It was such a great price, I can’t wait to see it on her. The boots (discount codes are still available, by the way) and tights we already have.

Paris Graphic T from GAP – $26.94
Pop-Color Skinny Jeans in Sunkissed Lime from Old Navy – $24.94
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Double-Tongue Shoes from Kohl’s – $27.99
Silver Plated Eiffel Flat Tower Charm and Chain at Amazon – $13.99
I love this look. This is one that would look adorable on my daughter, but there’s no way I could wear yellow jeans myself. I’m keeping my eye on that top, and the necklace.

Cherokee® School Uniform Zip Cable Sweater from Target – $14.99
Hello Kitty Graphic Tee from Walmart – $6.97
Mixed Print Georgette Skirt from Children’s Place – $19.95
Printed Jersey Leggings in Navy Stripe from Old Navy – $9.94
Myra Boot from Payless – $34.99
If anyone can pull off polka dots and stripes in the same outfit, I’m pretty sure it’s a 4 year old. Abby is also fascinated with Hello Kitty these days, and that tee we’d simply layer under the zip-up sweater is one she already owns.
I love the 1st and 3rd look!
My favorite is the first one!!
I can see my 2 year old in it :)….
They are so cute! I love the third one.
Wow, you have quite a fashion sense, Crystal! I think the combos are really fun, cute, and funky. You and your daughter must have a lot of fun together getting creative with the outfits!
