5 Great Ways to Reconnect

With all the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it can be easy to grow distant from those you love the most. I know I’ve felt this before. That’s why I need to remind myself that all it takes are a few minutes each day to reconnect. Whether you’re in the mood to take a walk together and soak in the sights, or simply relax with a game of Words With Friends 2.
We all know Words With Friends, right? Available on iPhone and Android devices, It’s the mobile word game where you start with a word, then take turns building words off those letters. Like a competitive crossword puzzle.
Words With Friends 2 is the same concept, but now better than ever. To start, you can build your word game confidence with fictional characters in the NEW Solo Challenge events before challenging friends and family. Then once you think you have this thing mastered, jump in for a fast-paced team match to test your rapid word building skills in the NEW Lightning Round.
As someone who’s just starting out, though, the Solo Challenge events are a great way to get the hang of the game. I was so proud of myself after winning a couple rounds, and really impressed that I found a way to use the letter X in the word ‘lax’. That happened to be my highest scoring word, thus far.
Can you fit in the word of the day? This day it was legumes. I love that I can click on the dictionary to get a definition if needed, too.
The great thing about Words With Friends 2, though, is that it’s meant to be played together. And with my daughter, I love that while it’s one of our great ways to reconnect, it’s also a fun way to build her vocabulary and help with spelling while being really fun. I even learn a few new words myself.
It’s an amazing way to just take a few minutes for each other in an otherwise busy day. Here are some of our best ways to regroup, recharge, and great ways to reconnect.
