Instead of thinking about wrinkles and how to hide them, perhaps you should turn attention to your eyes. However, you should be careful during this step. If you choose darker nuances, they will make you look even older. Instead, opt for lighter tones.
4. Less is more
Similarly to everything else when it comes to makeup, less is more. Most women make a mistake by using a thick layer of powder. But, this is completely wrong. If you make a strong foundation, it will only emphasize wrinkles. As an alternative, you try hydrating cream. Next time you look yourself in the mirror, you will be thankful! They are providing milder coverage and they will not penetrate your wrinkles. Make sure to use foundation and cream only on parts of your face that should be covered. Additionally, use tones that are a bit darker than your skin. Lighter colors will point out wrinkles.
5. Use powder wisely
Things change as the time goes by. Younger women prefer using a lot of powder. This is ok as their skin is oilier. But, as you grow older, it becomes drier and thus, powder tends to remain on wrinkles. Best way to approach this is to completely avoid it. If you are really adamant when it comes to powder, you should only cover nose and chin.
6. Bangs can help you
Bangs can provide a great assistance. They can easily cover forehead wrinkles. Nevertheless, make sure to use them moderately as you still should place focus on your eyes.
7. Choosing the right concealer
Similarly to powder, concealer is another product that tends to get into wrinkles. You can either avoid it all together or use a stronger concealer that will cover more.
8. Use illuminator for your face
Illuminators are very similar to concealers. But, they are a bit lighter than your skin tone. Apply a bit of illuminator to your skin and it will do wonder for you.
