Abominable Snowman Fork Painted Craft
That’s it, we’ve won the internet with this one! No joke, this Fork Painted Abominable Snowman Craft is the absolute best winter craft in every way. On top of all of the obvious, it’s just so easy that it’s great for all ages, too.

Now, I have to admit, this abominable snowman craft cracks me up. When I was taking the pictures to share, I placed the fork in the frame. I didn’t even do it purposely, but the way the snowman’s eyes ended up focused right on the fork, with its open mouth of teeth. It looked as if the yeti was truly surprised or frightened by the utensil. I couldn’t stop laughing.

Seriously, this yeti craft wins the internet. At least in my mind. It won my heart, anyway. The kids had so much fun with it, too, that it won the day. Fork painting is such a fun way to make art with even the littlest kids, because there’s no wrong way. For all those reasons, it might, at the very least, win this winter.

Abominable Snowman Art Craft Supplies Needed
- Fork
- Acrylic paint – white, blue
- Cardstock – black, white
- ⅝” circle paper punch
- White paint pen
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Fork Painted Yet Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by pouring white and blue acrylic paint on a flat surface.

We like to use paper plates. You will also need a kitchen fork.

Dip the tines of the fork in the white paint.

Next, begin forming the basic shape of the abominable snowman by using the tines of the fork to paint. The basic shape of the abominable snowman is completely up to you.

Use the tines of the fork to give the yeti a textured, hairy look.

Then, once the base of the yeti is complete, wipe excess white paint from the fork before dipping the fork tines in the blue paint.

Use the fork to paint blue around for the face of the yet.

Also paint blue on the body using the fork. Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, cut the pieces for the face of the yeti. You will need two ovals from white paper or cardstock. Also, use a ⅝” circle paper punch to punch 3 circles from black cardstock. You’ll also need to cut a rounded rectangle-ish kind of shape for the open mouth.

Use a white paint pen to draw and color in triangle teeth within the mouth shape.

Now, once the paint is completely dry, glue the two ovals in place for the eyes. All of the face shapes should fit within the blue section painted.

Glue two of the circles within the ovals to finish the eyes. Glue the last circle in place for the nose.

Finally, glue the mouth shape in place over the nose to complete this absolutely hysterical, absolutely adorable, completely and totally fun winter art craft.
