As a mom, I understand the importance of a balanced breakfast. Especially with the beginning of a new school year, it’s essential for kids to get that morning boost so they’re full of energy and ready to learn. By all accounts, a great breakfast is the start to a great day. This doesn’t mean that mom needs to wake up hours earlier just to slave over the stove groggy eyed and bleary, however. I take help wherever I can, with Jimmy Dean and these Turkey and Asparagus Quiche Muffins.

  1. I love the idea of mini quiches and the fact that you can freeze them and save some for later! A meal packed high in protein for a great start to the day! {client}

  2. These look really good. I use the meat all the time since I have one allergic to peanut butter so he packs that for lunch. Completely forgot about breakfast sandwiches. YUM. How long would these keep in the freezer? This would be perfect to make on a Sunday and have for them during the week but wasn’t sure if it would go bad. I just showed the hubby and said “Think the kids will like them.” He responded with, “They won’t have to cook and they have no other choice if that is what is there.” Love that. I’m totally going to try this for a meal one morning. I’m not sure if the kids will eat asparagus cooked in a muffin but I am loving the idea.
