It should come as no surprise that we are huge fans of Walmart Family Mobile. My mom is on the service, we’ve been on the service, and my oldest uses WFM, too. We’ve even switched some friends over, as well. And now there’s even more to love for an even greater price!
With the start of the school year fast approaching, I need to make sure my kids can get a hold of me whenever they need. And that’s easy to do with WFM! Thus, while at Walmart, we picked up the Coolpad Catalyst. At only $59.88, the Coolpad Catalyst is such a great smart phone with all the bells and whistles at a low price and perfect for my kids for back to school.
Then you’re going to need service, and WFM has you covered with more for less. The Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan is only $49.88 per line and includes Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data at 10GB 4G LTE plus a free movie (rental, new release = $7 value) on VUDU every month! And now the starter kits are even on rollback, so you can start service on ANY plan today for only $19.88!
With more data at a value with 10GB of 4G LTE, that’s a lot of data that we can use to keep in contact and my kids can stay entertained on long bus rides home. The free VUDU movie every month will definitely come in handy, too. Able to be played on a Smart TV, streamed via Roku, and watched via Chromecast, a family movie night is a great way to come back together around the TV after a week of school.
A movie that’s coming out that we’re really looking forward to is Angry Birds. Because we’re angry for savings, we thought it would be fun to put together an Angry Birds movie night with our Angry Birds Popcorn Balls.
These Angry Birds Popcorn Balls are easy to make and so good! Melting the butter and marshmallows is all the cooking needed, and that takes about 5 minutes. Then stir in popped popcorn and color-coated chocolate candies, or M&Ms, in the colors of the Angry Birds.
That’s red, yellow, green, and black. In popcorn balls so it’s easy to attack! Simply pick up a bag of regular M&M’s and let the kids separate the colors, eating the leftover blue and orange along the way. Take that pigs!

Angry Birds Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter + extra for hands
- 1 10oz bag marshmallows
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 1 cup M&Ms
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Apply a sheet of wax paper on a baking sheet. Separate the M&Ms into Angry Birds colors (yellow, green, red, and black).
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and salt. Cook until completely melted and smooth, stirring often.
- Remove heat and add popcorn to the melted marshmallow mixture. Stir until well coated. Gently fold in M&Ms.
- Pour mixture onto the wax paper and let cool until it's just able to be handled.
- Once the mixture is cool enough to handle but still warm, use buttered hands to form mixture into balls.

These look so fun to make! I love them with the Angry Birds colors, but these could work for so many movie night themes! Thanks for the idea.
