This post and Back to School Superhero Notebook Paper Craft is brought to you by TeacherLists.com and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
Are you ready to be a back to school superhero? With every school year, it seems like there is more and more stuff to shop for. That’s not even including the back to school outfits that my older kids are now at an age where they have to have. No longer do we need to pick up a simple pack of pencils, crayons, and colored pencils. We have to search for 6 specific notebooks in assorted colors with folders to match, enough tissue for the entire school to sneeze in, dry erase markers in particular colors, even ear buds, and the list goes on. It’s enough to make a parent’s head spin, especially when there is more than one child to buy for. But you have superpowers. You have TeacherLists.com.
Launched and guided by the adage, “Work smarter, not harder”, TeacherLists.com gives parents unmatched convenience during the busy summer and back-to-school time by making supply list shopping easy in just three simple steps: 1) Find 2) Buy 3) Receive. If you’re an Amazon shopper, TeacherLists.com even has a reminder at the bottom of each list of other back to school items your family might need.
This is especially convenient for me this year, as I’m about to give birth at any minute. Literally. Any minute. Although knowing my luck, he’s probably going to stay in for another month. But at least school supplies are one less worry.
Since I’m about to have another littler little one in the house, I’m thinking of ways to include them in the back to school fun, too. Pencils, paper, scissors, oh my! If your toddlers aren’t quite ready for the classroom yet, but they still want to get in on the back to school fun, then this quick made with shapes Superhero Notebook Paper Craft is for you! Most of these items are found on any elementary school supply list.
Superhero Notebook Paper Craft
Supplies needed:
- lined notebook paper
- construction paper in assorted colors
- colored pencils or crayons
- black marker
- letter stickers
- scissors
- glue stick
Start making your Superhero Notebook Paper Craft by cutting different shapes from a piece of notebook paper. You will need 1 circle for the hero’s face, 1 triangle for the cape, 2 squares make the body, and 1 rectangle for a face mask to fit across the circle. Glue those in place on a sheet of construction paper to make your superhero.
Draw simple arms, hair, a smile, and dots for eyes on the rectangular face mask with the black marker. Also, using colored pencils or crayons, color the cape and face mask.
Add a letter sticker of your child’s first name initial to the front of the top body square. Your superhero is now ready to save the school day!
