I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Mom Corps YOU. I received a free trial to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Being a working mother comes with challenges and a stigma in itself. Whether you work outside the home or are a work-at-home mom like myself, either professional direction you choose comes with its own unique challenges that can be difficult to navigate through on our own. There’s a work-life balance that’s hard to achieve in any situation. That’s when having a resource like Mom Corps YOU becomes invaluable.

For myself, I quit working outside the home for the most part once I had kids, though I always envisioned getting back out there one of these days. Alas, for now this is my office. A desk next to my bed. Some days it’s the couch, others the kitchen table. However you bring an income into your family, though, it’s never simple. Working from home, it’s easy to feel like I’m not giving my kids enough attention or the house easily turns into an erupted mess volcano. Guilt for doing one thing when I should be working on another is a normal feeling.
What I really love about Mom Corps YOU more than anything is that I immediately feel like I’m not alone. Looking for work-life balance tips? There’s a scheduled event that tackles just that. The #1 tip, by the way, is that there is no balance. About to get back out in the wild world of the work force and need help with your resume? There was a 3-step workshop for that, too. I can’t even tell you how long it’s been since I’ve updated a resume, so sign me up!
There are also an abundance of insightful resources and tools gathered inside Mom Corps YOU, each specifically suited for working moms. There’s a forum as well, where you can talk and ask questions with others in your situation, whatever your situation. Because when it comes down to it, we’re all just trying to do the best we can, however we can. Of course, it’s always nice to have an encouraging pat on the back along the way.

Very interesting. I work from home full time for a company plus blog on the side. Sometimes it gets lonely without having co-workers nearby to speak with. But the hardest task is juggling the kids the house and my time.
what an interesting program. While I’d LOVE to be a SAHM, unfortunately I have to work. Looks like a great resource!
What an interesting resources.
I am thankful to work from home, but it is no walk in the park. Husband & kiddo need attention, and clients need their deadlines met. It can be a juggling and balancing act on a daily basis.
Very cool program! Thanks for sharing!!!
This sounds like a really helpful website!
What a great tool to help moms out. Finding a balance for your personal and professional life is always a challenge.
This sounds like a great resource for all types of working moms. Thanks for the info.
I work from home for a company and blog on the side,I would NEVER want to go back in the office for over 9 years – it’s ridiculous the amount of unnecessary noise people make (gossip, competitive BS etc.). I have free online communities to keep in touch, linked in is free. I honestly can’t see paying $99 for this service, but good luck to the company that came up with it.
