I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
Recently, I was thrilled to learn that I’ve been chosen as a Boys & Girls Club (BGCA) Back-to-School Ambassador. While I have no personal experience with the organization at this time, I know the great work they do keeping kids on track and would have no problem turning to their services. From sports to health initiatives, their various programs help children aspire for the future, keeping their interest with positive opportunities where they can excel to their full potential.
The BGCA is a great cause to support and this back-to-school season you can do just that. It’s an easy way to make a difference in the lives of other children while getting your own kids ready for that first day back to class at jcpenney.
It’s amazing how fast children grow, at least when they’re at the age mine are. The elementary set seems like they always need at least a few new pieces, whether because of busted out knees in their pants or shirt sleeves that are too short. Why not give back a little in the process?
BGCA has partnered with jcpenney for the “jcpenney cares round up campaign“. In the month of July, round-up your purchase to the nearest whole dollar while shopping at jcpenney to make a difference in supporting afterschool programs at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.
“Every day, 15.1 million kids are left unsupervised after school. Boys & Girls Clubs are there to provide kids with quality after-school programming to keep them on track to academic success and a great future.”
It’s a simple way to make a difference that can affect the rest of the life of a child and support a cause while stocking up on the back-to-school essentials you were going to purchase anyway.
