Button Ghost Craft
Are you ready for one more super quick Halloween craft? This black and white Button Ghost Craft is a perfect last minute project!
So easy, our Button Ghost Craft combines the fun of glue and Halloween with the critical thinking skills of a puzzle as you try to make as many buttons fit within your ghost outline as possible.
For our Button Ghost Craft you will need white buttons in varying sizes, first and foremost. Lots of white buttons, depending on how big you make your ghost. You’ll also need black buttons, which you can probably get in the same pack as the white buttons from a dollar store. Along with the buttons, you’ll also need black cardstock, a white marker, and glue.
Button Ghost Craft
Supplies needed:
- white and black buttons in varying sizes
- white marker
- black cardstock
- school glue
First, draw a general ghost outline on a sheet of black cardstock with a white marker.
Spread a layer of glue inside the outline. Place 2 white buttons for the eyes and a bigger one for the mouth. Then, begin placing more buttons all around until your ghost is as filled in as possible. Mix it up with big buttons, little buttons, and all sizes in between until you get the look of your ghost that you like.
Glue 2 black buttons on the 2 white buttons for the eyes. The black buttons should be slightly smaller than the white buttons. Do the same for the mouth.
To finish the Button Ghost, we then went around the outline of the buttons with our white marker. We also colored in the white marker wherever there may have been an open space. Let everything dry completely.
