Candy Corn People Craft
Are you looking for a super cute Halloween craft that isn’t spooky at all, but all kinds of fun and whimsical? That’s a very specific ask, to be honest. But we got you with this darling Candy Corn People Craft! Even if you don’t love the candy itself, you’re going to love this craft!
Of course, we’ve included a Free Printable Candy Corn Template for the shapes to make this craft even easier. We cut our candy corns with random, wavy lines. However, depending on the skill level of your little crafters, you could make it all even easier still and cut straight lines. Any way you make your candy corns, though, they’re going to be sweet!
Fun Candy Corn People Halloween Craft
To make our Halloween candy corn craft you will first need to print our candy corn template.
Then, you’ll need cardstock in two shades of orange, yellow, and white, orange pipe cleaners, a black marker, large googly eyes, scissors, tape, and a glue stick.
Halloween Candy Corn Craft Supplies Needed
- Candy Corn Template
- Cardstock – lighter orange, darker orange, yellow, white
- Orange pipe cleaners
- Black marker
- Googly eyes, large
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue stick
Candy Corn People Craft Step By Step Directions
Begin by printing the candy corn template and cut out the pieces.
Trace the larger shape on a sheet of lighter orange cardstock. Cut out.
Trace the smaller shape on sheets of darker orange, yellow, and white cardstock. Cut those out as well.
Now, stack all 3 of the smaller shapes and cut into thirds. We used wavy lines, but you can just go straight across to make it easier.
Next, glue the yellow piece to the bottom of the larger shape. Make sure you leave a small bit of border at the bottom. You’ll notice how much you have on the sides and just try to make it as even as possible.
Then, glue the darker piece above the yellow piece. Kinda like a candy corn puzzle.
Top off the candy corn with the white piece.
Add googly eyes.
Use a black marker to make a simple mouth.
Lastly, flip the candy corn over to the back and tape one orange pipe cleaner across the body for arms.
Cut another pipe cleaner in half and tape each of those for the candy corn’s legs.
