Cardboard Roll Fox Craft
If there was ever a list of super cute fall animal crafts, this Cardboard Roll Fox Craft would have to be at the top of the list!
We love this Cardboard Roll Fox Craft so much, I didn’t want to stop making them. In fact, we may have foxes showing up in every corner of our home. They can play nicely with our Cardboard Roll Yarn Wrapped Bears, Paper Bag Hedgehog Craft, and Simple Shape Raccoon Craft. We have the woodland animals covered in adorable fashion!
For our Cardboard Roll Fox Craft you will need clean toilet paper cardboard rolls, orange and cream colored acrylic paint, a black sharpie, scissors, and a small stapler.
Cardboard Roll Fox Craft
Supplies needed:
- Toilet paper cardboard rolls
- Acrylic paint – orange and cream
- Black sharpie
- Scissors
- Stapler
Begin by making the cut for your fox face.
Start the cut in roughly the middle of the cardboard roll.
Angle the scissors going up. Leave about an 1 1/2″ uncut at top.
Fold in the bottom of the roll, as shown.
If you have a small enough stapler, staple together. If not, a bit of glue or tape should work.
Now paint the cardboard roll orange. Leave a bit of the face unpainted, as shown in the image above. Let dry.
Once the orange is dry, fold in the top of the roll, forming two ears.
Paint the unpainted area with cream colored acrylic paint.
Also paint inside the ear area with cream paint, as well as around the bottom to make paws. Let dry.
Once dry, take a black marker and draw a circle for the nose. Also make two small circles for the eyes and lines on the paws.
I love the 3D effect of these foxes and really just everything about them! Be sure to check out more of our fall crafts at Our Kid Things, too!
