Cardboard Roll Carrot Handprint Craft
To make our handprint carrot craft you will need a clean toilet paper size cardboard roll, green cardstock, orange paint, an orange marker, and scissors.
Handprint Carrot Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin with a clean toilet paper size cardboard roll.
Now, kind of flatten the cardboard roll. Make a cut, starting about halfway on the roll, going to the center of the roll at the bottom. Do the same on the other side. Make sure roughly half the roll is still connected.
Then paint the roll orange. Let the paint dry completely.
While the paint is drying, trace your little one’s handprint on green cardstock. Cut out the handprint.
Next, when the cardboard roll is dry, make random horizontal lines across the roll with the orange marker.
Finally, make a small slit at the top of the roll, where it is still connected. Do the same on the opposite side. Insert the handprint into the slits.
And you have a carrot! How unbelievably sweet is that? Ready to make a carrot patch?
