Cardboard Roll Hearts Bouquet
When it comes to Valentine’s Day, it’s sometimes best to think outside the box. Or the regular bouquet of flowers, as the case may be. Instead, help kids give the gift of love with our Cardboard Roll Hearts Bouquet!
I’m quite a fan of using cardboard rolls, and actually really like the way they look in their natural state. Like these Shiny Pipe Cleaner Dragonflies made using cut cardboard roll strips for wings. Our Cardboard Roll Hearts Bouquet is the same concept, with a tp roll and pipe cleaners. And a result lovely enough for Valentine’s Day!
This Cardboard Roll Hearts Bouquet is a craft that uses very simple supplies. A clean toilet paper cardboard roll, pipe cleaners, a stapler, scissors, and a single hole punch. You could also paint the cardboard roll strips if you’d like, or use paper strips instead. But the cardboard roll is a nice, thick material that comes packaged in the perfect base shape.

Supplies needed:
- Toilet paper cardboard roll
- Pipe cleaners – assorted colors
- Stapler
- Scissors
- Single hole punch
Begin by cutting the cardboard roll into strips.
You can get 6 strips of the right size out of one cardboard roll.
Take one of the circles and fold in the top so it meets.
Gently move the strip so you can get a stapler around the end and staple to secure.
Bring the bottom of the strip together and use the hole punch to punch a hole through both sides.
Cut a pipe cleaner in half. Using one of the halves of pipe cleaner, thread through the holes so there are equal amounts on both sides. Twist to secure.
Form a petal shape or two with one end of the pipe cleaner. Again, twist to secure.
