Cardboard Roll Polar Bear Craft
There can’t be an easier craft than this Cardboard Roll Polar Bear Craft. They’re all together so cute and such a fun winter craft, and of course they’re absolutely simple to make. Each comes together in literally just minutes.

The best way to make these cardboard roll polar bears is by making a group with all different sizes. We used some that were regular toilet paper size cardboard rolls, but we also used paper towel rolls for the big bears. Then, for the medium sized, we squeezed one toilet paper size roll into another roll.

A group of these fun polar bears would be lovely as part of a winter display or a fun winter decoration. I like to wrap my arctic animals in colorful scarves, I don’t know if you noticed, but we wanted to keep these white and classic so they would go perfectly with the season.
Simple Cardboard Roll Polar Bear Winter Craft
For our polar bear craft, you will need cardboard rolls. Or, otherwise known as toilet paper rolls. Except you can use paper towels in this craft, too.

You’ll also need white acrylic paint, white paper, ⅝” and 1” circle paper punches, a fine tip black sharpie, and a glue stick.
Polar Bear Cardboard Roll Craft Supplies Needed
- Cardboard rolls – toilet paper and paper towel size
- White acrylic paint
- White paper
- Circle paper punches – ⅝” and 1”
- Fine tip black sharpie
- Glue stick
Simple Polar Bear Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by gathering a variety of cardboard rolls.

We used both toilet paper size rolls and paper towel rolls. If some of your rolls are white, then even better. It’ll save you a step.

To make the medium bears, squeeze one toilet paper roll into another.

For the rolls that aren’t white, now is the time to paint them. Let the paint dry completely.

Once the paint is completely dry, draw simple polar bear faces with a fine tip black sharpie. For this, simply color in two small circles for the eyes, a small oval for the nose, then a connected mouth.

Now, punch two circles out of white paper with the ⅝” circle paper punch.

Use the fine tip black sharpie to draw a border just inside the circle. Then, color in a black circle in the center of the punched out circle. This is to make the ears.

Finally, glue the ears in place at the top of the roll.

Punch out two circles for the ears from white paper, but this time with a 1” circle paper punch. Color the ears in as before.

To make a larger version, draw the face as before, only slightly bigger features. We also used a white paint pen to make just a point in the center of the eye.

Glue the ears at the top and enjoy this super cute winter polar bear craft. But you have to make more first! They’re so much better as a family.
