Cardboard Roll Stamp Earth Craft
We have a really fun, really appropriate craft today for Earth Day. You are going to have a blast with our Cardboard Roll Stamp Earth Craft! Not only is it a craft of the Earth, but it’s made with cardboard rolls so you’re recycling and repurposing, too.

There’s really no way to do this craft wrong, so it’s a great art project for kids of all ages. Toddlers will love being able to play and stamp with paint, while the bigger kids will have fun making their Earth. We have a template for the circle size if needed, too, or you can use any size circle you’d like.

Cardboard Roll Stamped Earth Day Craft
For our stamped Earth craft for Earth Day you will first need our circle template. Or, grab something to make your own circle. I’ve always used the rim of a bowl.

The rest of the supplies needed are blue and white cardstock, acrylic paint in blue, green, and red, toilet paper size cardboard rolls, scissors, and a glue stick.
Stamped Earth Cardboard Roll Craft Supplies Needed
- Circle Template
- Cardstock – blue, white
- Acrylic paint – blue, green, red
- Cardboard rolls
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Cardboard Roll Stamp Earth Craft Step by Step Directions
Firstly, either print the circle template on white cardstock or use a black sharpie to trace your own circle on white cardstock.

Now, gather your paints. You will need green, blue, and red paint. We use a paper plate, because you will need a flat surface. Pour a generous amount of each paint on the paper plate.

Next, take a cardboard roll and dip one end in the green paint color. Begin stamping the green paint for the continents.

Once your continents are made, use another cardboard roll to stamp blue paint in the open spaces. You could use both ends of the same cardboard roll, but it will get messy that way. We prefer to use a roll for each color.

Then once you’ve stamped your Earth, let the paint dry.

When the paint is dry, cut out the Earth following the black circle.

Glue the Earth to a full sheet of blue cardstock.

Finally, finish your Earth craft by forming a 3rd cardboard roll into the shape of a heart.

Dip the heart into red paint and stamp a few hearts across the Earth. Also stamp a heart or two on the blue cardstock “space” background.

A lovely, sweet and simple Earth craft for Earth Day!
