Cardboard Roll Uncle Sam Craft
Supplies needed:
- Toilet paper cardboard roll
- Acrylic paint – red and cream color
- Cardstock – blue and white
- White marker
- Small googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
- Clear tape
Start by painting the cardboard roll.
Paint about ⅔ of the roll red.
Then paint the remainder of the roll a cream color. Let paint dry.
While the paint is drying, cut a strip of blue cardstock long enough to go around the cardboard roll. About ½” wide.
Also cut a mustache shape from the white paper. Make the mustache larger than the width of the cardboard roll.
Wrap the blue paper strip around where the red paint and cream paint meet. Tape to secure.
Glue two googly eyes near the blue paper strip.
Adhere the mustache under the googly eyes. Trim the mustache to fit if needed.
Use the white marker to add star details around the blue paper rim.
Also add stripes going up the red painted hat.
