Cheeseburger Nachos
This recipe for Cheeseburger Nachos is part of a sponsored post for Ricos. All opinions are mine.
Are you ready for the big game? Don’t worry if the team you were rooting for didn’t make it or even if you have no idea which teams made it at all. I may be in the latter group. You can still score the winning touchdown at any game day celebration regardless, as long as you bring a crowd-pleasing dish. Because food brings everyone together.
My winning game day strategy? Cheeseburger Nachos! Easy to please loaded with delicious cheeseburger toppings and easy to make even with a bunch of kids and family underfoot when it’s made with Ricos Cheese Sauces found at Walmart.
We all know I love Walmart, I’m there at least once a week, and Ricos Cheese Sauces are my latest favorite find. Available in a variety of flavors, we picked up both their Ricos Gourmet Nacho Cheese Sauce and Ricos Premium Cheddar Cheese Sauce for our double cheesy, oh so yummy Cheeseburger Nachos.
They also have several other varieties including Ricos Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce, Ricos Hot & Spicy Cheddar Cheese Sauce, and Ricos Condensed Cheddar Cheese which has 50% more cheese when mixed correctly. There’s a Ricos Cheese Sauce for every occasion.
Since our Cheeseburger Nachos were going to be served while watching the big game, I knew it had to have big flavors for big appetites. So I went with double the cheese with a combination of Ricos Gourmet Nacho Cheese Sauce and Ricos Premium Cheddar Cheese Sauce.
Start with a base of crunchy tortilla chips. Then, add Ricos Gourmet Nacho Cheese Sauce. The great thing about these sauces, aside from taste and the fact that they’re trans fat free and made with no hydrogenated oils, which is reason enough. But also the ease of use. Simply heat and eat!
Layer with a ground beef, or burger, mixture browned with steak seasoning and Worcestershire. And top with Ricos Premium Cheddar Cheese Sauce.
Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until everything’s hot and bubbly and the chips are lightly toasted. Then add chopped tomato, onion, lettuce, and banana peppers.
Finish with a drizzle of ketchup and mustard. And a dollop of guacamole, just because I really love guacamole.
Easy to eat with your hands so your main attention stays focused on the game.
Though you’ll be reaching for a fork to clean up every last bite. It’s really that good.
Whether your team comes away with the trophy, these Cheeseburger Nachos are certain to make you the real winner of the game. Or just any old regular day, whatever the case may be.
