Christmas Tree Fingerprint Lights Craft
I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by, and now it’s nearing time to put up our Christmas tree. We’re definitely excited, though. Christmas with kids is always magical. For our Christmas Tree Fingerprint Lights Craft you will first want to print our Free Printable Christmas Tree Template. Then, you’ll need green, yellow, and brown cardstock. You’ll also need acrylic paints in Christmas light colors like red, blue, yellow, orange, we even used white and purple. The only other supplies needed are scissors, a black sharpie, a glue stick, and of course, cute little fingers to print with.
Christmas Tree Fingerprint Lights Craft
Supplies needed:
- Christmas Tree Template
- Acrylic paint – red, yellow, orange, blue, white, purple bright green
- Cardstock – green, yellow, brown
- Black sharpie
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Begin by printing the Christmas Tree Template. Fold the page in half. Cut out star and set aside.
Now fold a sheet of green cardstock in half. Slide the Christmas Tree Template over the green cardstock and carefully cut out Christmas tree.
Unfold and bend back flat.
Set the star template against yellow cardstock and cut out.
Glue the star to the top of the tree.
Also cut out a rectangle or square shape of brown cardstock for the trunk. Glue the top of the trunk to the back of the tree.
Take a black sharpie and make curly lines going across the tree.
Now have the child dip their fingers in paint and press along the curly black lines.
