Clothespin Frogs Craft
Let’s make a Clothespin Frogs Craft today!
This Clothespin Frogs kids craft is so fun, and great for spring! Each one takes only a few minutes, so you can easily craft up a whole bunch of them in no time. You could even make a game out of catching “flies†with it!
You’ll need to gather some clothespins, green and red paint, a green pipe cleaner, and some small googly eyes. Don’t forget to make ribbit noises while you work!
Clothespin Frogs
Supplies needed:
- wood clothespins
- green and red acrylic paint
- green pipe cleaner
- small googly eyes
- scissors
- hot glue (optional)
First, paint your clothespin green except for the part that opens. That’s the frog’s mouth, and it will be painted red.
Take a pipe cleaner and cut two larger sections for the back legs and two smaller sections for the front. There should be little openings in the clothespin that the pipe cleaner can slide through. Bend the back legs so they look like they’re ready to jump. Hot glue the legs into place for extra security if needed.
Glue on some googly eyes and your frog is ready to ribbit and catch some “flies”! Be sure to check out more fun spring crafts at Our Kid Things!
