Clothespin & Leaf Turkey Craft

I get excited when we can think of fun ways to incorporate nature in our crafts. Sticks, rocks, flowers, and leaves are all great supplies to craft with. Speaking of leaves, and especially with it being fall and all, nothing says nature and the season more than colorful fall leaves. With the many unique hues and brilliance in each leaf, they’re like an art on their own. And they make our Clothespin and Leaf Turkey Craft so, so cute!

For our Clothespin and Leaf Turkey Craft you will, quite obviously, need some fall leaves. So get outside, play and gather some up on your way in! Try to find as many different colors of leaves as possible, in different shapes, too. Though large, maple-like leaves are best.

Cut a very small teardrop kind of shape from the red paper for the turkey’s snood. Glue the snood to the beak and glue it all onto the circle of brown cardstock. Glue the circle of brown cardstock onto the top of the clothespin where it opens and closes.
