Clothespin Zombies Craft
Zooooombies! No matter how old a kid is, I find most of them have an affinity for zombies. I know mine do, anyway. And with our super easy Clothespin Zombies Craft you can create the littlest, and strangely cute, army of the walking dead out for brains. Because we all know zombies only have one goal. Braaaaains!
This is such a fun Halloween craft, I have to say. We couldn’t stop making them, with their little zombie-d faces and green clothespin bodies. They may be out for braaaaains! But there’s nothing gross here.
For our Clothespin Zombies Craft you will need regular wood clothespins. Our clothespins were previously painted a darker brown from another craft that we just painted over so I didn’t have to make a trip to the store. Use what you got.
Which leads me to the rest of the supplies which include green paint, green and red cardstock, 1” circle paper punch, the smallest size googly eyes, black pen, scissors, and glue stick.
Clothespin Zombies Craft
Supplies needed:
- Wood clothespins
- Green paint
- Cardstock – red and green
- 1” circle paper punch
- Googly eyes, smallest size
- Black pen
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Begin by painting the clothespins green.
Let dry.
While the clothespins are drying, use the 1” circle punch to punch circles from the green and red cardstock.
Cut a small jagged chunk from the green circles. Glue the green circles on top of the red circles.
Glue on small googly eyes.
Use the black pen to draw a mouth and cut lines on the zombie.
Adhere a zombie face circle to the top of a clothespin, where the clothespin opens.
Now cut two rectangles from the green cardstock for each zombie.
Glue one rectangle to the front of the clothespin, coming off to the side. Glue the other rectangle on the back of the clothespin.
And your army of the undead is ready to go! Zooooombie! Braaaaains! I just can’t help myself.
