Finding television programs that all of my kids can agree on is not always easy. My 5 year old daughter has somehow latched onto reruns of Full House, complete with repeating the littlest Tanner’s “How rude!” catch phrase, and my 7 year old would prefer anything with the Incredible Hulk. They all agree on Spongebob Squarepants, though. Good thing there’s always Spongebob.
With Xfinity from Comcast, there really is always Spongebob. My kids recently realized that they can turn to Comcast On Demand to find Spongebob readily available any time of the day.
Because you can never have too much Spongebob.
When you do get tired of Spongebob, though, the Comcast Xfinity On Demand catalog has over 1,000 downloadable kid-friendly shows. Comcast has declared this the summer of kids, and with Xfinity TV you get your choice of content from well-known brands like Nickelodeon, Disney, Sprout, Cartoon Network, and PBS Kids. There’s something there to watch for everyone, of all ages. With parental controls that make it easy to find age appropriate content for your kids. This is a feature that I really appreciate, because my 5 year old doesn’t need to watch some of the programs that my 9 year old does.
You can even take the On Demand catalog on the go with your Xfinity Digital TV and Streampix subscriptions. The Xfinity TV Player app allows customers the opportunity to easily download content directly to your mobile devices for offline viewing. Once you’ve downloaded the program you want, you can disconnect and watch on the go! A perfect solution for long car rides or as a way to keep the kids still when you need them to be. Which is a lot better than my old way of bribery.
I love how with Comcast Xfinity I can hand over the remote to my kids and I know they’re watching programming I approve of. And with so many shows to choose from, they may find something other than Spongebob to agree on before summer ends.
