Cotton Ball Easter Bunny Card
This Cotton Ball Easter Bunny Card is soft and cuddly, simple and easy, and so hoppingly sweet, too. It makes the perfect card to give to a favorite teacher, relative, or neighbor. We also have included a Free Printable Bunny Ears Template, just so you’re not guessing at the right size to make the ears.
If you’ve been around here awhile you may notice that we love our white markers. Our Spring Bird on a Branch Craft, this Easy Paper Cactus Craft, and our Tweetheart Birds Craft are just a few recent examples. They’re actually chalkboard markers, but I’ve never actually used them on a chalkboard. I’ve tried the white paint markers before, too, and while they’re good, I really only use them when the chalkboard markers run out. Which, yeah. We’ve gone through a lot of chalkboard markers.
You could also try this Cotton Ball Easter Bunny Card with regular black sharpies, as well. Or blue markers, pink markers, gold markers, whatever color markers.
For our Cotton Ball Easter Bunny Card you will need the Bunny Ears Template, brown cardstock, a white marker, cotton balls, medium sized colorful poms, medium googly eyes, and glue.
Cotton Ball Easter Bunny Card
Supplies needed:
- Bunny Ears Template
- Brown cardstock
- White marker
- Cotton balls
- Colorful poms, medium sized
- Googly eyes, medium size
- Glue
Begin by printing and cutting out the bunny ears. We liked to have the ears a different color than the card and marker so that it was easier to see as we were tracing.
Now fold a full sheet of brown cardstock in half.
Position one of the bunny ears in the center of the card. Trace around the ear with a white marker.
Do the same with the other ear.
Then swirl a circle of glue toward the bottom of the ears.
Gather 7-8 white cotton balls and place in a circle on the glue.
Glue on googly eyes.
And a colorful pom. We used sparkly poms.
Then draw whiskers off the sides of the bunny with the white marker.
Finally, write your Happy Easter message on the inside of the card!
Isn’t it so cute?! Such a special treat for whoever you give it to. If you’re looking more ideas, be sure to check out all of our Easter crafts at Our Kid Things!
