Craft Stick Bats Craft
This Craft Stick Bats Craft is the perfect Halloween craft for two very good reasons. One, it’s made in literally a matter of minutes. So easy, and virtually foolproof. And two, they’re so simple but their beady little eyes and cute little fangs just make me absolutely happy.
I do love Halloween. And, I do love bat crafts at Halloween. This Spoon Bats Craft were some of our first crafts posted here at Our Kid Things, and still a favorite. We also love these Bottle Cap Bats, and this Paper Plate Bat Craft is adorable. OK, maybe I have an unhealthy affection for bats.
For our Craft Stick Bats Craft you will need 5 craft sticks per bat. The rest of the supplies include black paint, black and white cardstock, small googly eyes, scissors, and glue.

Supplies needed:
- Craft sticks
- Black acrylic paint
- Cardstock – black and white
- Small googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
You will need 5 craft sticks for each bat. Begin by positioning 3 craft sticks together.
Position the middle craft stick lower than the other 2. Cut a rectangle of the black cardstock just within the width of all 3 craft sticks. Glue to the craft sticks to hold in place.
Glue one end of one of the remaining craft sticks horizontally against half the black cardstock, so it’s sticking out. Do the same on the other side with the remaining craft stick. Let the glue dry.
Carefully flip over. Paint black. Let dry.
Cut a rectangle long enough to cover the span of the craft sticks for the wings from the black cardstock, with large jagged points.
Position the craft stick bat in the center of the wings. Glue in place. Trim any excess from around the wings in necessary.
Cut two small triangles from the white cardstock.
Glue in place for the fangs along with the small googly eyes.
