Craft Stick Christmas Tree Craft
Oh, Christmas tree! This Craft Stick Christmas Tree Craft is a super cute cra-aft! We were singing that to the screechy tune of a Christmas carol. It kinda works. We’re maybe better at crafting than we are at singing. And by we, I mean me.

Anyway, these craft stick Christmas trees really are super cute. If you add a loop of twine to the back, they’d make a lovely Christmas tree ornament, too. I love the addition of the shiny pipe cleaners and sparkle from the sequins. Don’t you love when you find craft supplies that you’ve forgotten about? Sequins are that for me, and since finding them again we’ve used them for a few Christmas crafts so far.

I also love this Christmas tree craft as it was a fun excuse to break out the scrapbook paper. It gave a lovely bit of interest to a few of our trees. We also did plain green Christmas trees, too, and those were just as nice. It’s actually hard to pick a favorite.
Christmas Tree Popsicle Stick Craft
For our Christmas tree, you’ll need regular size craft sticks, acrylic paint in green and brown, cardstock and scrapbook paper in different shades of green, shiny pipe cleaners, foam glitter stars, sequins, scissors, and a glue stick.

Craft Stick Christmas Tree Craft Supplies Needed
- Craft sticks
- Acrylic paint – green, brown
- Green cardstock/scrapbook paper
- Shiny pipe cleaners
- Foam glitter stars
- Sequins
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Christmas Tree Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by gathering 3 regular size craft sticks for the tree itself, and one craft stick for the trunk.

Paint the three craft sticks green.

Paint the trunk craft stick brown. Let all the paint dry completely.

Once the paint is completely dry, glue the craft sticks in a triangle shape on the green cardstock or scrapbook paper of your choice. Let the glue set.

When the glue is set and craft sticks are safely in place, cut the excess paper around them.

Now, wrap a shiny pipe cleaner from one side of the Christmas tree to the other. Cut to size.

If cut right, you should be able to use just one pipe cleaner for each Christmas tree. If you don’t want to worry about it, then use multiple pipe cleaners.

Next, glue the craft stick trunk to the center bottom of the tree.

Add a foam star to the top of the tree.

Finally, glue sequins in place on the tree. You can make all different kinds of trees; a silver tree, a gold tree, a colorful red and green tree. Make multiple and just have fun!

To hang, simply glue a loop of twine to the top of the back of the tree.
