Glue in place. Let dry.

Santa Dog Craft

Trim the excess brown cardstock away from the triangle.

Santa Dog Craft

From the black or extra brown cardstock, cut two floppy ears and a tail shape. See image above for shapes. You can add spots with the black sharpie, or leave as is.

Santa Dog Craft

Adhere the ears to the back of the craft stick triangle, about 1/3 of the way down or so. Glue at an angle so they’re sticking out the sides.

Now cut a triangle of red cardstock to fit the top of the craft stick triangle. Glue in place above the ears and trim away excess.

Santa Dog Craft

Cut a strip of the white paper and punch a circle from the white paper as well.

Santa Dog Craft

Glue the strip of white paper across the bottom of the hat and attach the circle to the tip.

Santa Dog Craft

Add googly eyes. Draw a nose and mouth with black sharpie.

Santa Dog Craft

Punch 4 circles from the brown or black cardstock.

Santa Dog Craft

Add 3 lines with the black sharpie and glue two of the circles to the front of the triangle, two to the back, with half the circles over the edge. Let dry.

Santa Dog Craft

Once the glue on the circles is dry, bend the half that’s over the edge up. It should now stand. Also, glue the tail to the back of the triangle, above the paws.

Santa Dog Craft

Fold the ears over the front of the triangle and glue in place.

So cute! We love how they stand up, but you could also add a string on back for a super sweet Christmas ornament! And be sure to find more fun Christmas crafts at Our Kid Things!
