Craft Stick Santa Ornaments
Who’s putting up their tree today? These Craft Stick Santa Ornaments would look really cute hanging from a branch!
I have to say, though, these Craft Stick Santa Ornaments are a great craft even off the tree. Leave off the string and they’d make a great holiday bookmark. You could also make them into Christmas puppets, magnets, or just have fun with Santa as is.
For our Craft Stick Santa Ornaments you will first need large wavy craft sticks. Also, red and fleshtone colored acrylic paints along with red and white felt. And Christmas twine, small googly eyes, pink puffy paint, scissors, and a hot glue gun.

Supplies needed:
- large wavy craft sticks
- red and fleshtone colored acrylic paints
- red and white felt
- Christmas twine
- small googly eyes
- pink puffy paint
- scissors
- hot glue/hot glue gun
First, aint the top 1/3 of each stick fleshtone and the bottom 2/3 red and let dry.
Cut out the following from your white felt: Small beard and mustache, tiny ball for on top of hat, and bottom of hat.
Cut out a small tall triangle for the hat and glue the hat to the top of the fleshtone end of the stick. Glue two googly eyes below the hat onto the fleshtone colored stick.
Fold and glue the hat to the side and attach the white felt hat pieces with glue. Attach the mustache and beard below the eyes with glue. Use your puffy paint to draw a small pink nose below the eyes.
To make into an ornament, cut a 6″ piece of Christmas twine, tie the ends into a knot and glue the knot to the top back of the craft stick. Then let everything dry overnight before hanging. Super cute! Find more fun Christmas craft ideas and recipes at Our Kid Things!
