Craft Stick Yarn Wrapped Moose Craft
With antlers wrapped up in yarn like a sweater to keep warm, this winter Craft Stick Yarn Wrapped Moose Craft has to be one of the most adorable winter crafts we’ve created. And I’m so excited to share it with you!
If you’ve been around Our Kid Things for awhile then you know that we love yarn crafts. We’ve wrapped bears for our Cardboard Roll Yarn Wrapped Bears, wrapped the bugs in our Cardboard Roll Yarn Wrapped Bugs Craft, laced with yarn in our Cardboard Lacing Hearts, and Paper Plate Yarn Lacing Apple Trees, too. Yarn wrapping antlers, however, is a first.
For our winter Craft Stick Yarn Wrapped Moose Craft you will need 10 craft sticks for each moose. As well, you will also need brown paint, yarn, medium googly eyes, black paper, hot glue, school glue, tape, and scissors.

Supplies needed:
- Craft sticks, 10 each
- Brown acrylic paint
- Yarn
- Googly eyes, medium
- Black paper
- Hot glue
- School glue
- Tape
- Scissors
Begin by lining up 6 craft sticks.
Take a scrap piece of paper, the black paper or whatever is on hand, and cut to the width of the craft sticks. Glue the craft sticks to the paper.
Paint the craft sticks a deeper brown color. Let dry completely.
Use hot glue to attach 2 craft sticks antlers to the back of the brown craft sticks.
Now, cut 2 more craft sticks into thirds for a total of 6 small craft stick pieces.
Hot glue 3 of the small craft sticks along each of the antlers.
Cut a long strand of yarn. Tape one end to the back of the craft sticks.
Begin wrapping the yarn around the craft stick antlers. Once finished, tape the other end to the back of the craft sticks, as well.
Now adhere googly eyes.
And cut two small petal-like shapes from the black paper. Glue in place towards the bottom of the craft sticks.
