Crayon Resist Watercolor Valentine Cards
These Crayon Resist Watercolor Valentine Cards are a unique and special card for kids to make with their own little hands, then pass out to their friends.
There are so many things to love about these Crayon Resist Watercolor Valentine Cards. The creativity, their bright colors, getting to play with paint. You can never go wrong when you get to play with paint. However, one of the things I love most about these cards is that each one is different and special for the person that it’s intended for.
These Crayon Resist Watercolor Valentine Cards are super simple to make, needing only white cardstock, a white crayon, watercolor paints, and scissors.
Crayon Resist Watercolor Valentine Cards
Supplies needed:
- White cardstock
- White crayon
- Watercolors
- Scissors
Begin by laying out a sheet of cardstock. One sheet will make 2 cards.
Use a white crayon to draw hearts and designs around the page. If you need to see the design you’ve created so far, hold the paper at an angle in the sunlight.
Now, paint over the crayon design with a mix of watercolors. Let the papers dry completely.
Once dry, cut the sheet in half.
Fold each in half to make a card.
Then finally, write your Happy Valentine’s Day message on the inside.
