Cupcake Liner Flower Cards
The thing I love about spring and summer are all the colors of flowers in bloom. This Cupcake Liner Flower Cards craft celebrates all those many amazing hues!
Not only are these cards super colorful and fun to make using a couple different mediums, but I love that they also raise off the card. The petals can also spin around thanks to the fastener we used. Then paint on your green stem and maybe a leaf or two.
These cards are a perfectly simply spring and summer craft, but they’d also be great for Mother’s Day with a little message from the kids on back!
Cupcake Liner Flower Cards
Supplies needed:
- Cupcake liners in a variety of colors
- Brass fasteners
- Yellow paper
- 1 inch hole punch
- ¼ inch hole punch
- Plain white index cards
- Green paint
- Scissors
First, take 3 of the cupcake liners in different colors and nestle them into one another. Cutting through all at the same time, make your petal shapes.
Once the petals are cut, take your small hole punch and punch a hole in the center of all 3. Turn cupcake liners inside out so the petals are lifting up.
Punch a 1 inch hole out of your yellow paper, then punch a small hole in the middle. Punch a small hole in your white card, as far down as you can get the hole puncher. Position all holes together and insert a fastener.
Paint your green stem.
So colorful, just like the real flowers about to come into bloom! Be sure to check out even more flower crafts and crafty ideas for Mother’s Day at Our Kid Things!
