There’s nothing we like more this time of year than spending time with family and friends. Whether dressing up in neighborhood costume contests, hosting holiday themed parties, or simply watching a favorite movie together, there’s always a reason to get together. And it’s even easier and less expensive to do with Walmart Family Mobile!
We love Walmart Family Mobile and have been a loyal customer for awhile now. They’re great phones with great plans. And so when it came time to get my daughter a phone, we naturally went with WFM and chose the LG K7 phone.
With all the bells and whistles of more expensive phones, but at only $49.88 (on rollback now from $89.88), this is a great smart phone to get her started. And with the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan = Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data for only $49.88 per line we can get up to 10GB of 4G LTE plus a free movie on VUDU every month! That’s a $7 value! Perfect to watch on a Smart TV, ROKU(R), Chromecast(R), VUDU Spark(TM), or other compatible devices, it’s another great reason to get together.
You’ll also need a Nano Starter Kit, which is also on rollback for $19.88 (from $25). That’s all you have to pay to get started! Since Family Mobile bills you later, you only have to pay $19.88 when you sign up!
What’s really neat is that all customers who activate new lines on any rate plan from 10/1-10/31 will receive a code providing a free download of the Ghostbuster Virtual Reality Experience, which gives users the unique experience of firing a proton pack and looking at ghosts straight in the eye! Simply purchase a Walmart Family Mobile product and get the code, then register and redeem. There’s an app for that, too! You could also head to a WFM in-store event to grab a brochure, activate a new line, and experience the free Ghostbusters Virtual Reality Experience. Be sure to check out the Plastic 3D Hologram, too! You can find an event in your area here.
With all the talk about Ghostbusters, we also had to pick up the new Ghostbusters! Available on 4K Ultra HD, DVD, and extended edition Blue-Ray with over 15 more minutes of scenes not seen in theaters plus over 3 hours of extras.
Who you gonna call?! Whoever you want now, and invite them over for a fun Ghostbusters movie night in front of the TV! I watched together with my kids and had a blast! We even made these easy Ghost Treat Buckets to eat our popcorn from. Because we ain’t afraid of no ghost! Not when they’re filled with popcorn, anyway.
These DIY Ghost Treat Buckets are so easy and really help to bring the Ghostbusters-themed movie night together! We simply took your regular orange plastic pumpkin pails and spray painted them white. If your pails have the embossed jack-o-lantern face, turn to the opposite side and make your simple ghost.
DIY Ghost Treat Buckets
Supplies needed:
- orange plastic pumpkin buckets
- white spray paint
- black marker
- black acrylic paint
First, make sure your buckets are clean and dry. Gently remove the handles. Then spray paint white.
We used a large bucket to hold our popcorn, as well as smaller buckets for individual servings. Give it a few hours to let the paint dry completely.
Once dry, take a black sharpie marker and begin outlining where you want your ghost’s eyes and mouth. Then paint in with black acrylic paint and a small paintbrush. Buzz, my 10 year old, wanted us to make eyebrows and a nose like the ghost on the cover of Ghostbusters. Jedi, my 12 year old, wanted Ghost Treat Buckets without. Kids love being able to create their own! Finally, gently reattach handles.
Once your movie night is over, you could line a walkway with your DIY Ghost Treat Buckets using battery powered tea lights inside. But now, it’s time to gather with your popcorn, the new Ghostbusters movie, and your own Ghostbusters in training! Don’t forget your proton pack. So, who are you gonna call?
