Easter Bunny Carrot Patch Craft
Everybunny knows a bunny loves carrots. With our Easter Bunny Carrot Patch Craft, a bunny hops along the bunny trail until he comes across a treasure trove of carrots popping from the ground, then have his pick of digging the best from the patch. Which carrot will the bunny pick first?
To make our Easter Bunny Carrot Patch Craft even easier, we have a Bunny Template so that it can be made to size with ears and all. Although half of the bunny will be covered up by jagged-cut green paper grass that he adorably peeks over to take in all the carrots in the patch.
For our Easter Bunny Carrot Patch Craft you will need our Bunny Template. Then, cardstock in white, pink, blue, green, orange, and brown. The rest of the supplies include green tissue paper, a 1” circle punch, medium googly eyes, a black pen, scissors, a glue stick and school glue.
Easter Bunny Carrot Patch Craft
Supplies needed:
- Bunny Template
- Cardstock – blue, green, brown, white, pink, orange
- Green tissue paper
- 1” hole punch
- Medium googly eyes
- Black pen
- Scissors
- Glue and glue stick
Begin by printing the Bunny Template.
Trace the face and 2 ears onto white cardstock. Cut out. Trace 2 inner ears and bunny nose onto pink cardstock. Cut out.
Glue all pieces in place. Adhere googly eyes, as well. Draw on a face, too, though it will be covered. Snip 6 thin, long rectangles from the white paper and glue in place for whiskers. Glue bunny face toward the bottom of a sheet of blue cardstock.
Cut a sheet of green cardstock in half. Cut in jagged edges along the top. Glue in place over the bunny so the bunny’s eyes and nose are showing. Trim excess green paper from the bottom. With the 1” hole punch, punch 2 circles from the white paper. Draw 3 lines on the bottom of each and glue along the bunny for paws.
Also punch a bunch of 1” circles from the orange paper. We went with 6. Tear pieces of green tissue paper, scrunch up, and glue to the top back of the orange circles.
Next, cut a smaller strip of brown cardstock. Cut in long wavy lines. Glue in place just below the top of the green, making sure you’re still on the blue cardstock. Trim excess from bottom. Before the glue on the brown cardstock dries, tuck and glue orange circle carrots behind the waves.
