Now in the hottest days of summer, it’s hard to believe we’re soon going to be headed back to school and all things fall are right around the corner. Hard to believe, but true. So we’re enjoying the sunshine and long, open days while we can. For us, this means lots of time spent in our pool and great, easy-to-prepare family snacks when we get out.
A favorite go-to snack of late are Tyson® Any’tizers® Chicken Chips. These crave-worthy snacks are made with real, quality, all natural chicken (No Antibiotics Ever).
Easily available in the frozen meat section of Walmart, Tyson® Any’tizers® offers a wide variety of all-white meat chicken prepared in a variety of delicious flavors and sauces. Perfect for poolside snacking, after school, quick get-togethers, or anytime.
We picked up two bags of Tyson® Any’tizers® BBQ Chicken Chips for our snacking needs. Because with a rather large family, there’s lots of snacking needs. Even with over 50 chips per bag, these chicken chips go quick!
Summer seems to be going by quick, as well. We’re taking advantage of every last day, though, with lots of time spent together, splashing in our pool. And spending as little time in the kitchen as possible. Which is why I love these Chicken Chips.
Every great chip needs a great a dip, however. Even a chicken chip. And what’s better than a classic, homemade salsa? So I’ll step into my kitchen for just a minute, most likely still dripping wet from the pool, to make a quick and Easy 5 Minute Salsa to go with our BBQ Chicken Chips.
This Easy 5 Minute Salsa is basically a drop everything into a blender and blend together kind of deal.
By everything I mean a can of whole tomatoes, a jalapeño pepper, ½ an onion, minced garlic, lime juice, sugar, parsley, as well as salt and pepper.
Then blend it all together until desired consistency. Personally, I like my salsa chunkier. I also don’t take to heat too well, hence only one jalapeño. With the seeds and ribs removed, no less. If you like more heat, use two. My kids are wimps like me, as well, though. I mean, really, it’s hot enough outside.
Add salsa to a dipping bowl. Heat the Tyson® Any’tizers® Chicken Chips. Put all on a serving tray and enjoy more time spent with family. Hopefully by the pool. Gives chips and dip a new meaning.

This is the salsa recipe I love to give as Christmas gifts to our friends and neighbors each year. The recipe will fill 3 pint jars, and then I add this simple free printable tag from my friend Rebecca, over at Crafted Sparrow. So cute and easy, and it s a refreshing change from all of the sweet treats people receive during the holidays.
