Easy Blue Cheese Avocado Dip

We just recently started doing a regular family game night. Those games have taken a few different shapes, whether it’s playing board games, a round of tag in the backyard before the sun sets, or rooting our favorite teams on the big screen from the comfort of the couch. Just something that we can do and get excited about together. And we can also get excited about the spread of game day food that’s bound to happen.
One such classic game day selection are wings. And one of our new favorites are Frank’s RedHot Wings.
Available in the freezer section at Walmart, Frank’s RedHot Wings are available in a few different varieties. We picked up both the Frank’s RedHot Wings Original and Frank’s RedHot Wings Buffalo flavors. Be sure to keep an out for the Kickin’ BBQ Flavor, too.
They are so easy to make either in the oven or microwave, so we can quickly get back to the game, and pack a ton of flavor.
Along with our wings, we also grabbed a bottle of Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce. It’s the original sauce that started it all as the secret ingredient for the first ever Buffalo Wings in Buffalo, New York and we all know how everyone seems to love all things Buffalo-flavor. So obviously, it’s a game night win.
Now, admittedly, I’m not a huge fan of heat. So part of game night is testing how much I can take and getting a few laughs in the process. My older kids, though, have absolutely no problem and usually ask for a few more dashes of Frank’s RedHot Sauce.
To make it a bit more bearable for those like myself, and especially when we have other friends and family over for extra special game nights, I like to pair our wings with a quick cooling dip. One such dip is this Easy Blue Cheese Avocado Dip.
This Easy Blue Cheese Avocado Dip is great, as it takes a lot of help from the store and comes together in a matter of seconds. Because with such flavorful and easy wings, there’s no sense in spending more time in the kitchen over a dip. Get back in the game! Plus, avocados are one of my absolute favorite ingredients that I would use in everything if I could.
First, pit and dice one ripe avocado. Mash it up as best you can. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice over the mashed avocado.
Then, add about 1/2 cup chunky blue cheese dressing, or until you achieve your desired dip consistency.
At this point, you can add more heat by stirring in a few dashes of Frank’s RedHot Sauce to the Easy Blue Cheese Avocado Dip.
Finish the Easy Blue Cheese Avocado Dip with slices of green onion and a few more dashes of Frank’s RedHot Sauce. Dip and score one for mom! Now, how are you winning game night?
