I am so ready for all things pumpkin. We actually grew our own pumpkins this year, for the first time. They didn’t get very big, but I have the ones that made it decorating our porch. Beyond decorations, though, there is of course pumpkin patches, pumpkin pies and pumpkin muffins. But most of all, there’s just the welcoming scent of a fall full of pumpkins.

Pumpkin Pit Stopâ„¢ fills the air with a lovely pumpkin scent that makes you wish for pie, or muffins, while Hit the Roadâ„¢ makes you feel like you’re cruising down a lane of the most amazing colorful trees and the crisp air of fall. As the fragrance filled the room, I had this overwhelming urge to go jump in a pile of leaves.
To further the experience, I wanted to bake some super Easy Chocolate and Pumpkin Muffins. These muffins are literally 2 ingredients. A boxed devil’s food cake and a can of pure pumpkin puree. Combine the two and bake into a delicious muffin that will quickly become a fall favorite.
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 1 15 oz. can pure pumpkin puree
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray muffin tin with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix and pumpkin until smooth.
- Spoon evenly into muffins tins.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
