Easy DIY LEGO Soap
What one toy do parents tend to fear most? LEGOs, and the dreaded stepping on a block in the middle of the night. Kids love LEGOs, however. And they do have their uses. You can build with them and create with them in a thousand different ways. We’ve even made LEGO clocks and LEGO Valentine cards using random pieces. And now, we’re sprucing up our bathroom with DIY LEGO Soap!
This DIY LEGO Soap uses a LEGO man silicone soap mold that you can find on Amazon. It comes in two shapes, a smaller LEGO man and a larger one.
Then, you fill the molds with cocoa butter block soap that’s simply melted in the microwave. You can also add any additional scents you’d like, and colors, too. Pour your now liquid soap into your LEGO mold and place on a flat surface in the freezer for 20 minutes to set.
Easy DIY LEGO Soap
Supplies needed:
- cocoa butter block soap
- blue, pink, and yellow soap colorant
- soap scent (vanilla or your choice)
- large Lego man silicone soap mold
- craft sticks for stirring
- measuring spoons
- almond oil
- glass measuring cup
Cut your soap block into about 10 large ice cube size pieces. Place about 3 soap cubes into your measuring cup. Microwave your soap for about 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Mix in a few drops of your colorant. Add a 1/4 teaspoon of your soap scent and a few drops of your sweet almond oil and mix.
Pour your liquid soap into your large Lego man mold. Carefully place on a flat surface in the freezer for 20 minutes to set. Carefully stretch the sides of your mold and push up on the bottom to remove your soaps. Now make another color!
