The included Free Sheep Printable has a transparent background so that it can be printed on the color paper of your choice. We prefer cardstock, just because it holds up better. We also made some of our sheep super colorful and fun.
For our Fingerprint Sheep Craft you will need the Sheep Printable, green cardstock or the color of your choice, acrylic paints, a green marker, small googly eyes, and glue.
Fingerprint Sheep Craft
Supplies needed:
- Sheep Printable
- Green cardstock
- Green marker
- Acrylic paint – white, assorted colors
- Googly eyes, small
- Glue
Begin by printing the sheep printable on the color paper of choice. We used green.
Adhere googly eyes.
Go around the bottom of the paper and make tufts of grass with the green marker.
We like to use paper plates for our paints. Squeeze some white paint on the plate. Dip just the tip of a finger in the paint and begin making fingerprints all around the circle of the sheep.
Dab a few fingerprints on the top of the head of the sheep, as well.
Try a sheep with lots of colors, too.
Such a simple craft with so many creative results! A lovely keepsake craft for Easter. We have many more fun Easter crafts for kids at Our Kid Things, too!
