Galaxy Handprint Earth Craft
Come together for Earth Day and make this adorable Galaxy Handprint Earth Craft. This handprint craft is a great reminder that the world really is in your hands, and ours, and especially in the littlest of hands.

There are so many fun things about this craft. There’s the sweet handprints, of course. But then you get to have fun with splattering paint, and there’s coloring in our Free Printable Earth Template, too.

Handprint Earth Day Craft
To make our Earth Day craft you will first need to print our Earth template.

You’ll also need black and skin toned cardstock, white acrylic paint, markers, scissors, and a glue stick.
Galaxy Handprint Earth Craft Supplies Needed
- Earth Template
- Cardstock – black, skin tones
- White acrylic paint
- 2 paintbrushes
- Markers – greens, blues
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Handprint Earth Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin with a black sheet of cardstock, white paint, and two paintbrushes.


Load one of the paintbrushes up with white paint. Use the other paintbrush to tap the back of the paintbrush and splatter white paint across the black cardstock. Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, trace your handprints on skin-toned cardstock.

Cut out the handprints. You will need two.


Then, print the Earth template and color it in.

Once colored in, cut it out.


Now, glue the handprints on either side of the Earth.

Glue the handprints holding Earth to the center of the paint splattered black cardstock.

Such a lovely Earth Day craft, and so fun, too!
