This is a sponsored post for the AtmosFlare 3D Drawing Pen through The Women Bloggers. All opinions are mine.
Crafting on paper is fun with many possibilities, but what if your creation transcended from the page? That would open up a whole new world. And it’s here. 3D art is becoming so popular these days. Now you can get started drawing in 3D with the AtmosFlare 3D Drawing Pen!
Available on Amazon, at Toys “R†Us, Walmart, and Best Buy, the AtmosFlare 3D uses a blue LED light that cures the special ink enabling you to easily draw 3D objects. With the 3D drawing pen, you can either draw vertically with the light set on, or draw on a flat, smooth surface with the light off. The light is then turned on to set the ink and easily remove and move it from the surface. It’s a drawing that you can carry with you!
We were sent the AtmosFlare 3D Drawing Pen which included everything needed to easily get started with ink colors in blue and red. It does need 1 AA battery, but that came with it, too. AtmosFlare does have instructional videos to get you started, and I recommend watching those to get the most out of your drawing pen. I, however, do not take my own advice and just dove right in.
It took a bit of trial and error, but I eventually had a light bulb moment and realized how it all worked. I was leaving the light on too often, and it doesn’t need to be unless you’re going vertical. Once I realized how it was done, it was so easy to make some really neat things. Of course, if I would have watched the video I could have gotten it a lot sooner.
The recommended age for the AtmosFlare 3D Drawing Pen is for ages 12+, but my 8 year old daughter was able to use it without problem. We drew some vertical shapes extending off the page that eventually turned into a person.
And this butterfly, which I was especially proud of. 3D art is the wave of the future and I can see why! There really are so many possibilities!
