Abby is going to be 4 next month and is just now starting to get some length to her curly hair. She receives compliments on how beautiful her ringlets are whenever we’re out. However, it’s still also rather thin. Her tresses can be difficult to manage, let alone figure out how to style.
It doesn’t help that she’s sternly against any kind of clip or bow left in her hair. I’ll put it in, and she immediately rips it out.
Thus, I am always in search of hair accessories that we can agree on.
We were recently sent a box of Hair Thingz to try in their Pretty Princess colors.
While they can be a bit tricky at first, I soon found Hair Thingz surprisingly easy to use with the accompanying instructions. You simply wrap the swirly tube around the hair, creating interesting styles that are a unique change for everyday. I also noticed how gentle the accessories were on her hair as we were removing them.
I tried a basic wrap on my daughter, but her hair just isn’t long enough yet. The Simple V-Twist with pigtails, however, worked great. She even took off running and the Hair Thingz stayed in place. I didn’t get very advanced with the styles yet, but you can layer, link, and twist Hair Thingz. I can just imagine how cute my daughter’s hair can be at Christmas now, or any special occasion, wrapped in festive colors.
The best part? She told me after the Hair Thingz were in, “I like these!”.
I received a sample of the product to review from the PR firm or company. No other compensation was received. Opinions are mine.
