Halloween Handprint Witch Gnome Craft
I am so excited that Halloween is approaching, and this Handprint Witch Gnome Craft is a great way to start the festivities! So fun and so sweet, it’s a great keepsake for the holiday season. Plus, you can’t get any more bewitching than gnomes. Unless it’s a gnome made with darling little handprints!
Just so this craft is all around easy peasy for little ones, we have a Free Printable Witch Hat Template. So all you need to do is cut out the pieces, with handprints, glue together and you have a super cute Halloween craft.
Halloween Handprint Gnome Witch Craft
To make our witch gnome craft you will first need to print our witch hat template.
You’ll also need cardstock in black, white, tan, and the colors of your choice, a 5/8” inch circle paper punch, a star paper punch, scissors, and a glue stick.
Halloween Handprint Gnome Craft Supplies Needed
- Witch Hat Template
- Cardstock – black, white, tan, colors of choice
- 5/8” circle paper punch
- Star paper punch
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Handprint Witch Gnome Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the witch hat template and cut out.
Trace the hat on black cardstock and cut it out. Trace the belt for the hat on the color cardstock of your choice. Cut that out, as well.
Also, trace a handprint on white cardstock and cut it out.
Now, choose your background color of cardstock and cut it in half. Then, glue the handprint towards the bottom of the cardstock.
Punch a small circle nose out of tan cardstock with a 5/8” paper punch.
Glue the nose in place in the middle of the handprint.
Then, glue the hat right over half the nose. Leave the top point of the hat unglued.
Fold down the top point of the hat.
Add the belt for the hat.
Lastly, punch stars with a star paper punch.
Glue the stars randomly around the background.
It doesn’t get much more bewitching! This has to be one of our new favorite Halloween crafts, and we hope it’s yours, too!

This bewitching Halloween handprint witch gnome is a fun kids craft and keepsake
Materials
- Witch Hat Template
- Cardstock - black, white, tan, colors of choice
- ¾” circle paper punch
- Star paper punch
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Instructions
- Begin by printing the witch hat template and cut out.
- Trace the hat on black cardstock and cut it out. Trace the belt for the hat on the color cardstock of your choice. Cut that out, as well.
- Also, trace a handprint on white cardstock and cut it out.
- Now, choose your background color of cardstock and cut it in half. Then, glue the handprint towards the bottom of the cardstock.
