Handprint Leaves Fall Tree Craft
We turned some darling little handprints into some colorful fall leaves in this Handprint Leaves Fall Tree Craft. So this is not only a super simple and sweet fall craft, but a great little keepsake for the season, too.

Our metallic markers are some of our favorite craft supplies. We have a lot of favorite craft supplies, actually, but metallic markers are definitely on that list. They have a fun way of popping from the paper, for whatever you’re crafting. And they’re great for making the leaf veins in our handprint leaves.

Handprint Leaves Fall Tree Craft
To make our handprint leaves fall tree you’ll need cardstock in fall colors like yellow, orange, and red. We used a couple different shades of each for 5 total colors of cardstock, along with brown cardstock for the tree trunk and gray for our background.

The only other supplies needed are metallic markers, scissors, and a glue stick.
Fall Handprint Tree Craft Supplies Needed
- Cardstock – yellows, oranges, reds, brown, gray
- Metallic markers
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Handprint Tree Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by gathering the cardstock colors for your leaves. We used 5 different colors from bright yellow to red.

Trace handprints on the cardstock.

Cut out all the handprints.

Now, use the metallic markers to draw lines, or the veins of the leaves, on the handprints. If you don’t have metallic markers, you can try regular markers or a simple black sharpie will work.

Next, cut a rectangle from brown cardstock for the trunk of the tree.

Glue the trunk in place on gray cardstock. Or you can use whatever color background you’d like.

Then, begin gluing the handprints around the top of the tree to make the colorful fall branches and leaves.

Continue until your fall tree is complete and full of colorful handprint leaves.
