Handprint Lucky Gnome Craft
We don’t consider these just any gnomes. This is our Handprint Lucky Gnome Craft, a really fun craft for St. Patrick’s Day that incorporates a little sparkly handprint for the gnome beard!
Gnomes are known for good luck anyway, which makes them a perfect craft for St. Patrick’s Day. These gnomes I happen to think are extra lucky. Or maybe the recipient is the lucky one, with a craft containing those cute handprints.

- ⅝” circle punch (optional)
Lucky Gnome Handprint Craft Step by Step Instructions
Begin by tracing the little one’s handprint.
It’s easiest to trace on the back of the glitter paper.
Cut out the handprint.
Now, cut a sheet of green cardstock in half for the base. Cut another sheet of a different color of green in half, as well. We also used orange and yellow, too.
Glue the handprint to one of the green cards with the fingers pointed towards the bottom.
Cut a long triangle shape out of one of the green cards, wide enough to fit the handprint.
Use the circle punch, or simply cut, a small circle from the brown cardstock.
Glue the circle in the center of the handprint.
And position the hat over half the nose and the rest of the handprint.
Finally, draw some shamrocks on the hat with a green marker. We also drew a simple rainbow on our yellow gnome’s hat, as well.
Who says leprechauns should have all the fun on St. Patrick’s Day! This gnome craft is so adorable and such a great craft for St. Patrick’s Day!
