One of the knobs fell off my kitchen stove.
What’s worse, is that I don’t know where it went. Where can a knob hide? It’s a mystery. So I’ve been playing a game of musical knobs whenever I cook. It’s not a huge deal in the grand scheme, everything else still works fine, but it’s just another of those things.
Those things that are bound to make me say, huh, I really wish I had a new stove. Especially if I were to ever want to use more than three burners at once.
And so I’ve been looking online, checking out sites with a big range of cookers. It’s not going to happen soon, but I’m still gathering a wish list of desired features. I’m dreaming a dream of working buttons and shiny stainless steel. They’re so clean and sleek. The double ovens really have my eye. I can just imagine how many frozen pizzas I can heat in there.
One of these days soon I’ll have to seriously consider my cooker options. Or at least find my knob. Although considering that my previous range I used for years before this was bordering on antique with an eery sense that it was about to blow up at any minute, a missing knob really isn’t that catastrophic. We all know I don’t cook that much, anyway. Though I’m sure if I had a nice stove I’d cook a lot more.
