Keep Kids Hydrated with Gululu

Through the app, parents and kids can measure their daily and weekly hydration habits and be rewarded for their efforts through their virtual pet. We were sent a Gululu interactive water bottle in Mermaid Pink to test out and review. Included in the box along with the bottle is a wireless charging cradle, two detachable spouts for easy cleaning, and a packet with instructions and stickers. Everything you need to keep kids hydrated.

I never thought we’d be this excited about a water bottle, but we couldn’t wait to fill it up and get started. But first, it needed to charge. And we needed to download the app.

Next, came pairing our smart phone and bottle with the app available through mygululu.com and on Google Play as well as the Apple App Store. After inserting my daughter’s birthday, weight, amount of water intake we’re aiming for, and a picture, it was also time for Abby to choose her Gululu virtual pet. With 3 choices to choose from, this was a hard decision. It was either Ninja, Purpie, or Sansa. Ultimately, she chose the pink and sparkly Sansa.

What most people don’t know is that about half the kids in the United States are dehydrated and don’t drink enough water. It’s found that when drinking water properly the child’s sleep is improved, concentration is improved, and their mood is improved. We’ve only had our bottle a few days, but Abby has taken delight in showing me her progress. She was also excited when she earned Sansa a crown.
