Everything old is new again. I have to say that I’m thrilled that My Little Pony’s are also among some of my daughter’s favorite toys. It makes me nostalgic every time she plays with them and I secretly want to take the ponies from her to brush their hair.
So when the new My Little Pony – Friendship is Magic: Spooktacular Pony Tales! DVD arrived in the mail to review and my daughter asked, “Mom, can I watch this please, please, please?!â€, I was more than happy to say yes. And then she sat and watched the whole thing not just once, but twice.
I always forget that our cable carries The HUB TV Network, which is where The My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series airs, but after watching the 6 episodes contained in this DVD, I’m sure my daughter will remind me. We loved it! And my daughter adored the goodies that came with it, too. We’re saving the pumpkin carving stencils for Halloween and the poster is now hanging by her bed.

Coming to DVD on September 9, 2014 in the U.S. and Canada from Shout! Factory Kids in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, Spooktacular Pony Tales features 6 episodes and a sing-along. The DVD also comes packed with spooky fun including My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic pumpkin carving stencils and a color Halloween poster perfect for seasonal decorating.
The My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series is currently airing on The HUB TV Network in the U.S. and on Treehouse in Canada.
