Mom Photo Card
If you’re still looking for the perfect card for mom for Mother’s Day, this Mom Photo Card Craft is sure to be a showstopper. Containing a favorite photo of the maker of the card or a group shot of mom with the kids, this is an absolutely beautiful card and keepsake. We’ve included a Free Printable Mom Template, too.
We love that the flower in the middle of MOM on the front of the card acts as a frame. It’s even made so that the card can be displayed and used all year round, with the photograph easily being swapped out as the seasons change. A simple idea that mom will love!

Mom Photo Card
Supplies needed:
- Mom Photo Card Template
- Cardstock – brown, pink, red, purple, etc.
- Photos
- Scissors
- Glue
Begin by printing the Mom Photo Card template. Cut out the pieces.
Fold a sheet of 8.5 x 11 brown cardstock in half.
Trace the M on the color cardstock of your choice. We folded the sheet, traced once, to cut out both Ms at the same time. Then trace the flower pattern on a different color cardstock. Carefully insert the scissors in the center of the flower and cut out the inner circle.
With the brown folded card placed horizontally, glue both Ms on the very edges of the card.
Make sure the subject(s) of the photo you’ve selected will fit nicely in the circle of the flower, then cut the photo to fit.
Apply glue to just the sides and very bottom of the flower. A glue stick would work well. If using liquid glue like we did, just be careful how much glue is used.
Position the flower, unglued top up, in the middle of the Ms. Let the glue dry.
Insert the photo through the top.
Write your message on the inside of the card.
Use mom’s favorite colors in your card for a simple way to make an absolutely stunning Mother’s Day card!
