Mother’s Day Purse Card Craft
Moms carry a lot in their purse. I know mine is stuffed full of just stuff. Mostly receipts, but any given time there’s also snacks and cups and sometimes even socks, because you never know. This Mother’s Day, give mom a purse that’s full of love with our adorable Mother’s Day Purse Card Craft!

This super cute purse card for Mother’s Day comes with a Free Printable Purse Template, making all the pieces needed that much easier. And it really is an easy craft. The template includes a heart, flower shapes, and a fun drivers license for mom where you can either draw a picture of mom or add a small photo.

Purse Card Mother’s Day Craft
For this super cute purse craft you will first need our purse template.

You’ll also need cardstock in assorted colors, black buttons, a black sharpie, scissors, glue dots, and a glue stick. Then for the driver’s license to put in the purse, you’ll need coloring supplies or a small photo of mom.
Mother’s Day Purse Craft Supplies Needed
- Purse Template
- Cardstock – green, red, assorted colors
- Black sharpie
- Black buttons
- Coloring supplies or photo
- Scissors
- Glue dots
- Glue stick
Purse Card Craft Step by Step Directions
Begin by printing the purse template. Trace and cut out the pieces.


Trace the template pieces on your cardstock colors of choice. You will first need to choose the main purse and strap color. Cut it out.

As well, you will need to trace the flowers on your colors of choice and the heart on red cardstock. Cut out the license and leave as is. Also cut some thin strips out of green cardstock for the flower stems.

Now, with all the pieces cut out, fold the main purse body in half.

Fold the flap over the front.

Open the purse back up and glue the strap to the top.

Glue a black button to the front of the flap.

Use a black marker to add details to the front of the purse. You can add whatever details you’d like.

Next, finish the driver’s license by drawing a picture of mom or cutting a small picture to size and adding it to the license. Sign your name, too.

On the inside of the purse, glue the license and the heart.

Glue the flower tops to the green stems and glue flowers so they’re coming out of the top of the purse.

Don’t forget to write your Happy Mother’s Day message for mom.

Lastly, close the card again.

Apply a glue dot to the back of the top flap to keep the purse closed.

How fun! Such a sweet card that mom will love for Mother’s Day and cherish for years to come.
